Mandela Day 2026

The smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. This Mandela Day, our teams across South Africa came together to give back to the communities around us, honouring Nelson Mandela's legacy through compassion, generosity and action. In Cape Town, we supported the Somerset West Night Shelter, while our KZN team supported a soup kitchen and pantry fill-up at the Izinga site and participated in a FoodForward SA event. In Tshwane, we supported charity hampers for Hanna's Charity, and in Johannesburg, we made sandwiches for the Joe Slovo settlement, supported a FoodForward SA event and helped paint the New Jerusalem Children's Home. Through these initiatives, we brought our teams together to spread kindness, provide essential support and create a lasting impact in the communities we serve. Because at Beyond Bricks, building stronger communities starts with showing up, lending a hand and making a difference, one act of kindness at a time.
